Handmade with Love

Posted by Schwarzschild at 4:00:00 AM in Charles Krypell (27)

Never in a million years can one just simply compare mass produced products to artisan-created goods. A handmade piece is not just a piece in itself. It holds the time and energy used in making it. It holds the passion put into it by the artisans who enjoy and love creating their pieces. Buying that piece that oozes with originality and authenticity can spread that positive energy. All of Charles Krypell Sterling Collection pieces, for instance, are hand-crafted, perfect masterpieces made with the same love and passion we all adore from handmade items. The Sterling Collection offers a wide-range of versatile and wearable trend-setting designs that incorporate exotic materials and timeless beauty.

Charles Krypell Sterling Collection and other pieces can be viewed at Schwarzschild’s on Alverser Drive.

Guaranteed for Life

Posted by Schwarzschild at 4:00:00 AM in A. Jaffe (25)

We think of buying as the end of something. But sometimes, it is not. You may find yourself in a situation where you just bought an unreliable, undependable, or sadly, not durable product. It may be something as whimsical as a pair of shoes or as expensive as jewelry. Nevertheless, it’s a waste of time and money if the warranty is only limited to a specific time. Limited warranty, as I always believe, only shows that the maker has limited faith in the product it sold. Lifetime warranty, on the other hand, shows great promise and commitment that the quality and character of product sold is beyond reproach. A. Jaffe, for example, makers of exquisite and superb diamond jewelry pieces, guarantees that its buyers are assured of quality craftsmanship, authentic pieces, and free of defects – for a lifetime.

Buy your A. Jaffe piece now, without worry, at Schwarzschild’s at Short Pump, Town Center.

The Beauty of Biwa

Posted by Schwarzschild at 10:58:56 PM in Yvel (21)

Lake Biwa is Japan's largest, most well-known freshwater lake, located in Shiga prefecture. Lake Biwa was said to be frequently referred to in literature, like poetry and historical accounts of battles, being proximate to the ancient capital.  It was also once the source of incredibly lustrous coin-shaped pearls which the company, Yvel, a highly-acclaimed jeweler, get their pearls for their well-known Biwa Pearl Jewelry Collection.  However, in 1985, the entire lake was designated as a protected Quasi-National Park. Nevertheless, Yvel still offers the same unique and exclusive line with the help of its connection with two major Fresh Water pearl farms. The Biwa Pearl Jewelry Collection is a beautiful 18k gold collection set with diamonds, enhancing the natural color and beauty of the round, pear, drop and square shape pearls.

Where Time is Eternal

Posted by Schwarzschild at 10:57:28 PM in Wellendorf (21)

Have you ever enjoyed yourself that you’ve totally forgotten the time?  That in your mind and heart, everything is going along as planned? Your day starts smoothly, hassle-free, and effortlessly. Wherein the tickling of the clock suddenly stops and you become totally oblivious of the things that go on around you — a feeling of loving and being loved; an achievement at the end of a struggle. But suddenly, BAM! Before you knew it, it stops; it ends, leaving a feeling of sheer ache, with much scuffling and tussling. It makes you wish for days gone, for time to stand still. At Wellendorff, perfect moments and experiences in life, though fleeting, ephemeral, and transitory are forever preserved throughout eternity. With its Genuine Delight Collection, time is eternal.

A Wonderful Pair

Posted by Schwarzschild at 8:03:34 PM in Tissot (25)

It's the Holidays and your significant other might be expecting something from you. Well, if she is and you don't get her something, that would be a bummer. And if she is not (which is rarely the case), getting her something special will be a wonderful surprise! There's really no way around it. So here's a piece of advice, get you and her a little something. Couple watches! Yes, this gift should remind her of both of you. It's romantic and well, you get something out of the gesture too. If you really just wanted to buy a watch for yourself yet you don't want her to get jealous that you did not get her something, this might also be the perfect excuse. But kidding aside, I'm sure she'll love this surprise. Tissot has a range of couple watches that match. From their Chemin Des Tourelles to PR 100 with brown leather straps, I'm sure you can find a cute pair that you and her will adore.

Rainbow Galore

Substantial research shows that color matters; and that color plays a pivotal role in all our visual experiences. It plays a vitally important role in the world in which we live. It can sway thinking, change actions, and can help facilitate and fulfill some very basic human needs. With its unquestionable importance to our daily lives, when was the last time you thought about color? Save for the occasional breathtaking sunset, or being repelled by an obnoxious-colored product, have you ever thought of color as something more than “ordinary”? Suna Bros., makers of rings, earrings, and necklaces showcasing a vividly kaleidoscopic palette of gems in various precious metal combinations, have thought of color as one that invokes an emotional and passionate response, and they offer one for every affinity and taste! With Suna Bros., color is more than a sign or a symbol; it’s a one-of-a-kind wonder right at your fingertips.

Simple and Sexy

Posted by Schwarzschild at 7:08:40 PM in Slane (22)

Ladies like to have different sets of jewelry to express their current mood and mindset. That is why brand loyalty is not much of an issue when it comes to luxury jewelry. Every brand offers something that others do not. But let's not kid ourselves though, there are just brands out there that are the go to for a particular look and feel. For a laid back, easy and Southern elegant charm, Slane is the go-to brand. Slane is the epitome of laid-back elegance. Its allure is in its everyday charm and propriety. It is not sexy because its provocative. It is in some sense sexy because it is all too proper. And there is always sexy in simplicity.

If you want to express your everyday charm using jewelry, consider Slane. You can find Slane pieces over at Schwarzschild's at Short Pump Town Center.

Remade in Switzerland

Posted by Schwarzschild at 7:06:09 PM in Swiss Army (24)

I love brands that continue to reinvent themselves through innovations, be it in engineering, design or plain aesthetics. And one brand which I always follow is Victorinox Swiss Army watches. This 2015, they actually gave us a treat. I'm not sure if you guys have caught on to it but if you haven't let me run you through what had happened. This year, the company expanded its INOX watch collection. The innovation did not come from tweaking much of it. Just as like as the old adage - if it ain't broken, don't fix it. So what the company did with this collection is that they added more fun things. My favorite among the collection is the Swiss Army INOX Remade in Switzerland. This features a base INOX watch with a green dial but the company added leather from vintage Swiss army military bags for the strap and case protector. This might be the coolest thing I've seen this year from the company.
