Silver has health benefits?

Posted by Schwarzschild at 10:00:00 AM in Charles Krypell (30)

We’ve talked about the advantages of sterling silver over other precious metals in the past, notably that it’s a lot cheaper than the rest, but, still, it maintains the elegance and sophistication of platinum. But you haven’t heard of the health benefits of silver, have you? Yes, silver has properties that can positively impact on your health. For example, silver has antimicrobial agent against cold and flu, skin care, and healing wounds. Silver also aids in regulating your internal heat and protects the wearer against harmful electromagnetic radiation from electronic gadgets, notably, smartphones. Much of these benefits can be derived from silver’s electrical and thermal conductivity, which emits positively charge silver ions that create a sort of protection field against radiation. So next time you wear a Charles Krypell Sterling Silver, you can be also getting, not just luxury, but some health benefits.

Polar cold

Posted by Schwarzschild at 9:45:00 AM in Ball (25)

The human body is not designed for polar cold, where temperature can drop up to -50 Celsius degrees. Intense cold will instantly result in freezing our muscles and blood, causing the body to shut down and eventually die off. We have a form of defense though—shivering and chattering—to tell our body to find shelter fast before we succumb to the cold, but ultimately, we will need protection like multi-layered clothing to keep ourselves warm. Same thing goes with a standard watch subjected to extreme cold. Its mechanism will shut down eventually due to extreme cold pressure. It needs protection and this is what Ball watches enjoy. Ball has a cold temperature endurance engineering that uses special lubrication to allow the watch to keep functioning up to below -60 Celsius. That’s a full ten degree lower than extreme polar cold temperature.
Ball is available at Schwarzschild's on Alverser Drive and at Carry Town.

Bellarri is renowned for its mutlicolored gems set on mono or two-toned precious metals. Despite the use of varied elements in one jewelry piece, Bellarri designs are not overwhelming; rather, they are a master stroke of artistry that mixes the exact combination of these elements to exude the perfect artwork.  If you find Bellarri an alluring brand, you’re not alone. Hollywood stars are also known to don the jewelry. Kelly Clarkson, Mayim Bialik, Brooke Anderson, and Nick Cannon are some of the celebrities seen wearing Bellarri cufflinks, earrings, or bracelets. They match the jewelry with formal dress on special occasions like the Emmys, but a Bellarri also goes well with casual. In fact, you can wear one every day at the office or in business meetings, without being overdressed.

Why a solitaire ring is still the best

Posted by Schwarzschild at 8:00:00 AM in Martin Flyer (24)

A solitaire ring embodies a lot of meanings when given as a wedding ring. It can mean you desire no one but one, your partner. It can also stand for two souls being married into one. A solitaire ring also evokes focus, a single stone takes all the limelight, just as the bride is the star of the wedding. Likewise, the single-stone ring can symbolize loyalty, that there’s only one person that you’ll love, ever. Or, the ring can mean your life has only one purpose: to love your partner for the rest of your life. Despite the trend of more fabulous and extravagant ring styles, the solitaire continues to remain as a powerful wedding symbol.  So, if you’re looking for a most elegant solitaire ring, there’s always the Martin Flyer Classic Solitaire to express your one true love.

Lunaria, the Mayflower, and Marco Bicego

Posted by Schwarzschild at 9:20:00 AM in Marco Bicego (31)

The Lunaria is a historically significant flower in as far as we Americans are concerned. This beautiful flower was among the first flowers brought by the Pilgrims in their Mayflower journey from Europe to the New World. Its name came from the Latin word Lunaria, which means "moon-like" that pertains its the ornamental seedpods. Lunaria was included in one of the famous letters written by Thomas Jefferson, where he mentioned growing them in the enchanting gardens of Monticello. In celebration of its glorious past, Marco Bicego made the Diamond Lunaria collection, which highlights the Lunaria flower's inherent beauty through pieces featuring lightweight "petals" of luminous diamonds and hand engraved intricate gold plates. Lunaria's oscillating order of irregular chains set against the hand-etched components provides these pieces the known consummate lightness that is clearly Marco Bicego.
