Tissot T-Race MotoGP Watch

Posted by Schwarzschild at 12:00:00 AM in Tissot (27)

The Tissot T-Race MotoGP watch is made of a beautiful rose gold and and a deep black for a stunning design. It is a bold watch with a large face, and yet there is something delicate about it, too. The numbers are small and elegant, and everything is put together well, so that it can be clearly read, and a lot of different numbers shown. This watch is classic, yet modern, and the rose gold color of the detailing really helps it to stand out. The band is all black, and it keeps this watch looking simple enough to be worn with any outfit.

Tissot was founded by a father and son team in 1853. It is a Swiss company that made the first mass produced pocket watch, and it became well known as a watch maker because of that. The quality was there, and that was something that people cared about. The company is still around to this day because it uses the best materials and is careful about how its watches turn out. The watches from this brand feature a variety of materials and looks, from rose gold and silver, to leather bands and a bright red color on the watch. All of the watches are made well, and each one of them is beautiful enough to be a bold statement piece on one's arm.

For Tissot’s offerings, the Le Locle Powermatic 80 is a watch that has found a place as a trendsetter and a true masterpiece. Along with it’s Swiss-made movement, this unbelievable piece is powered by the Powermatic 80.111 Swiss automatic movement. In a nod to tradition, this watch joins 80 hours of mechanical energy with a dignified style that’s in line with the trends in minimalism and time-honored style design. On the same token, the 39.3mm case is the right mix of classic watch sizes and modern choices. In addition, the stainless steel holds up, so it’s perfect for a day at the office or a night on the town.

And with a few additional details, you’ll find that the Le Locle Powermatic 80 moves you from the world of entry-level watches to a place of distinction and class. For example, the see-through caseback allows you to appreciate and even marvel at the powerhouse movement behind this excellent piece. Add in the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and you’ve got an upscale watch that will turn heads and let people know you value craft and luxury. Finally, the date window is a subtle touch, as is the detail of the stainless steel strap that completes the piece.

Open Your Heart to the Tissot Tradition Open Heart Watch

Posted by Schwarzschild at 7:00:00 AM in Tissot (27)

Tissot is not normally the first name that comes to people's minds when they think of fine quality watches, but it should be. Since they first began in 1853 in Switzerland, Tissot has been making some of the finest watches in the world. They stood out for their technical innovation at first making pocket watches and pendant watches. In 1910, they sold their first wristwatch for women, and they have done it again by offering the Tissot Tradition Open Heart Watch.

The classic details of the Tissot Tradition Open Heart watch makes it comparable to the high quality of a Tissot watch. It has a domed, scratch-resistant crystal face. The butterfly clasp makes it easy to put on. The back case is all stainless steel. There is a see-through case on the front so you can see the automatic movement in the back. The guilloche design on the front of the watch adds even more class to this unique design. The movement of the watch is all Swiss. It also comes with a leather strap or stainless steel strap, depending on preference. So, if you are in the market for a high quality watch at an affordable price, the Tissot Tradition Open Heart watch may just be the watch for you.

Tissot Generosi-T Lady Quartz

Posted by Schwarzschild at 7:36:38 AM in Tissot (27)

The Tissot Generosi-T is a slim yet substantial watch that features understated diamond hour markers given high contrast against a dial of luxurious black mother-of-pearl. The sleek curves of the rectangular face and case mirror the alluring outlines of the female form. At the same time, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal dome protects the piece from the rigors of everyday life. Solid 316L stainless steel also adds strength to the feminine design in a bracelet that subtly narrows as it embraces the wrist, ending in a butterfly clasp. Two simple Roman numerals and fuss-free date display complement rather than distract from the dial -- diamond stars on a night sky full of hidden color. The piece is water resistant for up to 30 meters (100 feet).

Since 1853, Tissot has been creating innovations in materials and technology from Le Locle, Switzerland, the heart of the centuries-old Swiss watchmaking industry. The Generosi-T is a timepiece that celebrates the timeless beauty and strength of women. It is also available in five other styles with variations in color and material to suit the unique taste and complexion of any woman.

Tissot goes cycling

Posted by Schwarzschild at 1:00:00 AM in Tissot (27)

Tissot has long been associated with motorsports, the tortuous but glam sports of throttling engines and display of impressive horsepower. Recently, Tissot ventured into a new kind of race, one that doesn’t require engines: cycling. To celebrate this year’s Tour de France, the watch signature launched the limited edition Tissot PRC200 Tour de France. Tissot is the official timekeeper of the 2016 Tour de France. The watch features the brand color of the world’s most prominent cycling race. A yellow GT stripe runs along the black Nato strap, while the official Tour de France logo is etched on the caseback. Expectedly, this exclusive edition features all that’s good about Tissot: scratch-resistant sapphire crystal cover; Swiss quartz movement; and stainless steel case. The new Tissot model is a good addition to your collectible set of timepieces.

A Wonderful Pair

Posted by Schwarzschild at 8:03:34 PM in Tissot (27)

It's the Holidays and your significant other might be expecting something from you. Well, if she is and you don't get her something, that would be a bummer. And if she is not (which is rarely the case), getting her something special will be a wonderful surprise! There's really no way around it. So here's a piece of advice, get you and her a little something. Couple watches! Yes, this gift should remind her of both of you. It's romantic and well, you get something out of the gesture too. If you really just wanted to buy a watch for yourself yet you don't want her to get jealous that you did not get her something, this might also be the perfect excuse. But kidding aside, I'm sure she'll love this surprise. Tissot has a range of couple watches that match. From their Chemin Des Tourelles to PR 100 with brown leather straps, I'm sure you can find a cute pair that you and her will adore.

Fast and furious

Posted by Schwarzschild at 5:00:00 AM in Tissot (27)

Just how fast is fast? If you ask MotoGP, of which Tissot is a brand ambassador, the top speed bikers reach was around 361 kph at the Mugello circuit. That’s almost half the speed of a turboprop. At ground level, the speed must be exhilarating, blurring the side views and keeping only the things up front in focus. For the rider, the speed tantamounts to flying and gives him a sense of superhero complex to mock the slower vehicles around him. Take this Zx-10 biker in a viral video that zoomed past cars from Augsburg to Munich in Germany. The biker was speeding at 300 kph and, obviously, wanted to show off. Well, a funny thing happened on his way to Munich: an Audi overtook him.

Tissot for ladies

Posted by Schwarzschild at 12:00:00 PM in Tissot (27)

Tissot may be known for solid precision sports watches, but the brand has its effeminate side to regale an elegant woman. The Tissot Rose Dream Gold features an 18k rose gold casing with mother-of-pearl dial, which is accented by 42 Top Wesselton diamonds set by two golden rings in parallel. The aim is clear: make woman fall in love with Tissot the way men drool over their manly Tissot watches. The hands are also made of rose gold protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire cover; the whole mechanism is water-resistant up to 30 meters. Complementing the elegant watch is the ìpearlisedî crocodile leather strap. If you're a guy looking for your next Tissot, you'll love to know, too, that your lady can also look impressive with a Tissot.

Asian Superstar Xu

Posted by Schwarzschild at 1:32:07 PM in Tissot (27)

Just before K-Pop ruled it over Asia and parts of Europe and North America with their extravagant fashion, hair, and dance moves, there was Barbie Xu. Xu who? She’s one of the most popular actresses in Asia, literally skyrocketing to fame with her debut on “Meteor Garden,” a Taiwanese produced television series targeted at teenagers. Xu is a picture of grace and strength, a resilience she carried since starting her showbiz career from a duo band with her sister. Despite her fame, Xu maintains an approachable demeanor and a simplicity that belies her luxurious lifestyle. Now a major celebrity in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and the rest of Asia, she’s the ideal Tissot ambassadress, someone who is both conservative as she’s modern, famous but her feet firmly placed on the ground.

Innovation by Tradition

Posted by Schwarzschild at 3:48:49 PM in Tissot (27)

The Swiss are known for their expertise in watchmaking. One Swiss brand that has stood the test of time is Tissot. It has been manufacturing watches since 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland. In the same year, Tissot introduced the first mass-produced pocket watch and the first pocket watch with two time zones. Tissot’s signature is “Innovation by Tradition” and the brand is exactly that. Since its first year of operations, it had innovations on its sights and it delivered. Its leadership in innovation helped developed more high-tech products, special materials and advanced functionality. But it doesn’t mean that excellence should always be priced too high. Tissot also makes a big commitment to making the excellent more accessible to people. Tissot pieces have been known for their accuracy and are widely used in sports timekeeping. Some examples of sports event that Tissot supports are FIBA, AFL, and MotoGP.

Tony’s Tissot

Posted by Schwarzschild at 3:10:51 PM in Tissot (27)

He glides through the court armed with his smooth passes and precise court direction. Tony Parker is your typical point guard — he plays for the San Antonio Spurs — and he’s French.  He’s got the basketball skills, yes, and the coolness factor off the court. In fact, this French could easily pass for a model when donning suits, making him the perfect ambassador for Tissot, the luxury Swiss watch. As the official timekeeper of FIBA, Tissot shares the sports passion with Tony, who in turn, reflects the timepiece signature’s excellence in function and style. His energy drove him to win accolades for both the French national basketball team in 2005 Eurobasket and numerous NBA titles under his belt. Yes, he’s sleek and power on and off the court, much like his watch.

The Tissot Advantage

Posted by Schwarzschild at 2:29:15 PM in Tissot (27)

One way of projecting luxury is to wear an elegant watch. Many people judge your importance and value by the watch you wear. Although it’s true wearing a more popular signature will assure you of respect from colleagues, sometimes, it can backfire. After all, exclusivity is a function of the truly wealthy. It’s the advantage of wearing a Tissot. It’s Swiss luxury without the mass appeal simply because not too many know a Tissot. But once they see its elegant lines, the masterfully engineered strokes of its dials and its wide array of chic and graceful styles, they know at once it’s a brand reserved for a few. Some of the signature’s admirable designs are: the Touch Collection; T-Sport; T-Trend; and T-Gold. All models feature Swiss precision and luxury.

International Man of PickUp Line

Posted by Schwarzschild at 8:09:12 AM in Tissot (27)

How about using your Tissot for a pickup line? This man shows us how.

The young American sat at the international party feeling overwhelmed by the foreigners all decked out in the latest European designs. More than anything, the young man desperately wanted to have the cute European girl approach him. This time he was prepared. He waited for the right moment and then casually rolled up his sleeves revealing a Tissot Racing Touch watch just as the girl was near. The watch's Swiss crafted design drew a quick compliment from the young lady. The young man then seized the opportunity to talk to her. As the girl said goodbye at the end of the party, the boy told her it’s still very early in Europe, and invited her for an after party. The girl was impressed by the boy’s knowledge of her time zone. Dual time zone capability is just another feature of the Tissot, but it’s the brand’s elegance and smooth confidence that’s probably got the girl’s attention.

Nicky in a Ducati

Posted by Schwarzschild at 2:51:43 PM in Tissot (27)

How is it to be hitting 300 kilometers per hour on a bike along with other racers? Nicky Hayden should know. The MotoGP World Championship rider has been racing competitively since, well, four according to his father. But his professional racing actually got its first kick after winning the Dirt Track Grand National Championship when he was 18 and eventually capping it when he won the 2006 MotoGPTM World Championship. It’s no surprise that Nick Hayden is one of Tissot’s ambassadors, the epitome of grit, passion, drive and sports competitiveness that the luxury Swiss brand represents. To honor the Nick Hayden spirit, Tissot has released a limited edition, the Tissot-T-Race Nicky Hayden Limited Edition 2013.  It is at once spirited, sporty and sleek as a speeding Nicky in a Ducati, so to speak.

More than meets the eye

Posted by Schwarzschild at 1:26:35 PM in Tissot (27)

"What is essential is invisible to the eye," as what was notably quoted in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince. This is very true in most of life's situations, as people tend to conceal their truest character within their private selves. This belief, however, is also quite applicable to other things, such as timepieces. For one, the Tissot T-Touch Classic merges timeless classic style and sophisticated technology into one. At first glance, an unsuspecting eye will readily recognize an indubitably impressive vintage watch. A close examination, however, will expose something more. It is in fact a sports timepiece featuring 11 tactile functions, built with a mini LCD screen! With a stainless steel bracelet

The Tissot T-Touch Classic is simply "the" watch for all sporty gentlemen out there, who just want to stick to nostagic designs while at the same time seeking for utility that's imperative to lead an active lifestyle.

It's a good thing, though, that Tissot timepieces are always "visibly" available at Schwarzschild’s at Carry Town.

It’s better than manly bravado

Posted by Schwarzschild at 11:24:58 AM in Tissot (27)

Tissot is synonymous to manly sports like motor racing, basketball and ice hockey. But the Swiss watchmaker has also a wide selection for the ladies. They have the same precision engineered parts and reliable timekeeping movement that made Tissot a favourite official timekeeper for major sports events such as the Asian Games, FIBA and MotorGP, but sans the manly bravado. Instead, Tissot ladies watches are sporty feminine: confident, strong and pretty. Take the Tissot PRC 200 Lady. Its slender, color interchangeable strap and neater dials are elegant, but you can sense a strong character that tells you it can take on any contact sports. At the same time, it is delicate; its curves reveal a woman who can also take it easy and enjoy lighter activities as yoga and meditation.
