The Frederique Constant Horological Smartwatch
For the last 30 years, Frederique Constant has been known for pushing the boundaries of horological excellence in technology and value, so it should come as no surprise that their best selling watch is the industry’s first “Horological Smartwatch”.
Styled as a traditional wristwatch, even foregoing a digital display, the Horological Smartwatch features motion and sleep tracking functions and displays them via a secondary analog dial. Rather than a daily or weekly recharge, the Horological Smartwatch has a battery life of two years because of the lack of digital display. But for those of you looking for all the analytics and more, you can view them via Bluetooth and the company’s easy-to-use app.
Frederique Constant watches are available at our Cary Court and Charlottesville locations.
The Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman 42mm
Hamilton Watch Co. reached into its archives to create the Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman - a professional-grade divers’ watch that not only references the brand’s history as a provider of watches for the United States Navy but also its very first role in the movies. As seen in The Frogmen, this watch was the first Hamilton watch to be seen onscreen (since then, on the wrists of Elvis Presley in 1961’s Blue Hawaii; Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in 1997’s Men in Black and its sequels; Bruce Willis in two Die Hard films; and, most recently, Matthew McConaughey in 2014’s Interstellar).
While the Khaki Navy Frogman pays homage to its military-grade predecessor, it is also incredibly modern with a 42mm stainless steel case, striking blue dial and water resistance up to 300 meters. The movement inside the timepiece is a serious upgrade from the 1950s versions - the Caliber H-10 with a power reserve of 80 hours. This watch also sports a triple-row steel bracelet with a smart-adjustment clasp and divers’ extension.
Hamilton watches are available at our Cary Court, Short Pump and Charlottesville locations.
The Raymond Weil Maestro “The Beatles - Abbey Road” 2017 Limited Edition
The Raymond Weil Beatles “Abbey Road” Maestro timepiece is the perfect gift for the music man on your list. Raymond Weil has over 30 years of experience developing timepieces inspired by famous musicians and their instruments which is why their collaboration with the Beatles is ideal. This watch, in particular, was inspired by the engraved texture and musical experience of the Beatles' original recording medium - the vinyl record.
The Maestro’s dial is unique in that it showcases the iconic silhouettes of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr striding in sync across the infamous pedestrian walkway of the iconic Abbey Road cover. This timepiece also features a mechanical automatic winding RW4200 caliber movement, sapphire case back and a stainless-steel case and bracelet.
Raymond Weil watches are available at our Alverser Plaza, Short Pump, Cary Court and Charlottesville locations.
