Woman Wearing Hearts on Fire Diamond Stud Earrings, Ring, and Bracelet

When I was a child, I saw a billboard that would forever alter the way I looked at diamonds. Towering above the highway, stretched across fifteen feet, the Hearts on Fire campaign lit up the sky and the eyes of this child. When it comes to diamonds, no brand shines brighter than Hearts on Fire. Known as the “World's Most Perfectly Cut Diamond”, this brand has become the global standard for exceptional craftsmanship, brilliance, and enduring romance.

In 1996, Glenn and Susan Rothman were visiting Belgium where they stumbled across something they had never seen before. A diamond, geometrically cut so that with its unique hearts-and-arrows pattern, it seemed to be ablaze with sparkle and beauty. The couple deemed it the “Hearts on Fire” diamond, acquired the trademark, and began selling it along with the moniker: the World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond. Today, their brand is available in over thirty countries worldwide.

In 2002, the Rothman’s patented the Dream cut diamond, which was HOF’s answer to the princess cut, fulfilling their dream to have a light performing diamond with a fancier cut. That same year, HOF made headlines again when they supplied fashion designer Anne Bowen with diamonds to create a dress for the 74th Academy Awards. The result? A dress featuring over 5,000 specially cut diamonds and is estimated to cost over $5 million.

In 2008, HOF launched their Architectural Collection, a jewelry line that celebrated architectural structures from around the world. In conjunction with the launch, they created a diamond chandelier for the 60th anniversary of the Emmy Awards. Boasting a design of over 3,300 diamonds, weighing over 1,000 carats, and valued at $10 million, it hung in the award show’s green room where the walls surrounding the sleek, three-tiered diamond strands scintillated with light.

What sets an HOF diamond apart and makes it the world’s most perfectly cut diamond, is their commitment to consistency. All HOF diamonds are chosen from the top one percent of the world’s raw diamonds, cut and polished at one hundred times the magnification, which is ten times more than the industry standard. Only a handful of master diamond cutters are allowed to cut HOF diamonds, and because they’re done by hand, take four times longer to cut. The microscopic precision demanded results in a diamond of unparalleled brilliance; diamonds that are perfect 100% of the time: octahedral, optically pure, knot free, and grain free.

HOF is also committed to the ethical sourcing of all their diamonds: every single one has been sourced through the Kimberley Process; an international certification that ensures every diamond enters the legitimate market through conflict-free methods.

Because of their intense brilliance, an HOF diamond will still sparkle whether in a dimly lit room or not perfectly clean. It is the unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, combined with innovation and creativity, that inspires and empowers those who wear Hearts on Fire jewelry. Graceful yet strong, forward-thinking and approachable, an HOF diamond instills confidence in all those who wear it.
